This motorcycle adventure is a scenic overload; beginning in the town of Leh, we ride into Lamayuru, the Moon Land, get to whitewater raft in the legendary Zanskar River, and hit the Nubra Valley via Khardung La, the highest motorable pass in the world. We ride our bikes out to this staggeringly beautiful part of Ladakh, which is a one-of-a-kind cold desert.

Tour Itinerary:

 

  • Day 1: Report at Manali
    Reach Manali and check-in to riverside camps; local sightseeing; orientation process; and Leh ride briefing. Acclimatization and Nature Walk to Hadimba Temple/Manu. Temple/Manalsu River/Beas River in Manali. Allotment of Royal Enfield 410CC Bikes and trial run in the evening.

  • Day 2: Manali - Sarchu
    The road from Manali to Sarchu presents a thrilling drive through the picturesque landscapes of Himachal Pradesh and the high-altitude desert regions of Ladakh. Travelers traverse the challenging Rohtang Pass and witness a gradual transition from lush greenery to barren mountains, creating a memorable journey before reaching the stunning camping site at Sarchu.

  • Day 3: Sarchu to Leh

Exclusions

  • Any transportation to Manali and vice versa
  • Personal expenses like Telephone, Laundry, Tips and Table Drinks etc.
  • Any type of insurance-Medical, Accidental, theft
  • Any Airfare / Rail fare other than what in mentioned in “Inclusions”
  • Airport, Railway station or Bus stop pick up or drop
  • Cost of any spare part which will be used due to the accidental damage incurred when the motorbike is in rider’s possession.
  • Cost incurred to transfer or tow the motorbike in case it is dropped on the way.
  • Vehicle servicing or maintenance cost(if own bike)
  • Any lunch and other meals not mentioned in package inclusions
  • Security deposit per motorbike of Rs. 5,000/- . As per the deposit policy (This is refundable at the end of the trip if there is no damage or spare parts used.)
  • Parking and monument entry fees during sightseeing.
  • Any cost incurred due to extension,change of itinerary due to natural calamities,road, blocks,vehicle breakdown, union issues and factors beyond our control

Important Information

  • All riders must be 18 years of age or older
  • Members below 16 years of age are not permitted to travel on the bike as pillion. They can travel in SUV/Traveller.
  • Kids below 3 years of age are not recommended to join the trip.
  • A valid Driving License is mandatory for the rider. 
  • Own Bike option is where riders will be getting their self-owned bike (bike should be registered in your name or on blood relative) - Transportation/transfer cost and road support to reach the reporting location are not included in the price.
  • The customer is liable to pay any repair cost for any damage made of the rental bike.
  • In case the road is closed to Khardung La or Nubra to Pangong and not safe for bikes then transfers to Leh-Khardung La-Nubra-Pangong Leh circuit will be done on Traveler/SUV at no extra cost.
  • If there are any additional expenses due to bad weather or any other reason beyond the control of the tour operator on account of hotel stay, transportation, and meals etc. extra bill will be raised. Neither Trodly nor the participating suppliers/hotels will be responsible for the additional expenses.
  • If any member wishes to leave in-between the tour then he/she has to pay the cost for transportation of bike from point of leaving the tour till Manali/Srinagar drop ie Rs.10,000 per bike. 

Things to Pack

Clothing and Gears

  • Riders Down Jacket, Lower, ankle length waterproof shoes (gumboots) with the good grip and thick sole, gumboots. 
  • Heavy Woolen Clothing including woollen socks (Severe Cold / Snow)
  • Windproof Woolen Hand Gloves (Severe Cold / Snow), Raincover, Ponchos
  • At least 2 pairs of thermal. 
  • Hats / Caps
  • Sunscreen lotion (SPF 50 or greater) or  Sunblock
  • 2-3 Extra Shorts,
  • An extra slipper and an extra towel for backpack
  • Long-sleeved over a shirt and a thin pair of pants as the night gets a bit cold
  • Riding gloves, cap, muffler, balaclava, socks woollen and cotton 5-6 pairs.
  • Elastic bungee to tie stuff on the motorcycle if required.
  • One 60L backpack with rain cover.
  • UV sunglasses for bike riding/extra spectacles with cover if you wear one.
  • Handy torch.
  • Hand Sanitiser (Dettol, Lifebuoy) – Recommended.
  • Small water bottle, 1 Ltr - 2 units.
  • Chocolates, toffees, chips, chewing gums, mouth freshener, dry fruits etc.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

Manali is well connected with Delhi and Chandigarh. Best way to reach Kullu or Manali is via overnight bus from Delhi/Chandigarh. You can take semi-sleeper Volvo AC buses or normal sleeper buses. The bus journey take 11-13 hours to reach Kullu and a further 1 hour to reach Manali. Tickets should be booked online. We suggest you choose government run buses such as HPTDC and HRTC as they are seldom late and run as per schedule.
