About Galle Face Green
As salty ocean breeze blows by, and hues of orange merge to light the sunset sky, the ever-buzzing Galle Face Green boundlessly attracts locals, families, teenagers and tourists. The picturesque promenade is a huge open space where people can walk around, have a picnic, fly kites or munch on yummy snacks. Though the area gets crowded on weekends, this place is a must-go to eat spicy local sea food dishes and kebabs. The lively atmosphere is characterized by music, laughter and giggles! Even though there is not too much to do at this place, an evening must be spent here, to at least witness the sunset and experience local Sri Lankan life.
