Colombo Countryside Bike Trip

Escape the busy city and explore the countryside of Colombo on a bike ride through the village. This approx. 24 Km bike ride takes 3-4 hours through the off roads of the village will give you a glimpse into the simple lifestyle of the villagers. Explore the paddy fields, water tanks, tea and spice estates, fishing village and coastal line, birds, nature and much more as you cycle through the roads of the countryside. Also visit the Kelaniya Sacred Temple and Diyawanna Oye Lake. This paddling excursion is an experience that you don’t want to miss. On this tour you get a Tuk Tuk ride from your hotel to the Parliament Ground, Diyawanna which is the starting point of the expedition. From there you ride along with other bikers and explore the beautiful sites that this place has to offer.

Trip Itinerary:

• 7:00am: Trip starts with pick up from your Hotel in Colombo & transfer to Colombo parliament ground from where the countryside cycling expedition starts.
• Start the exciting bike ride and with-in few miles of Colombo we come with-in beautiful countryside
• Explore rural landscapes, paddy fields, lakes, Bird sanctuary, and nature and finally visit the Kelaniya Sacred Temple.
• We also ride on the trail around the parliament area, Diyawana Oya Lake area and short off-road biking.
• 11:00am: At the end of the tour You will be transferred back to your Hotel by Tuk Tuk
