About James Bond Island
Jame Bond Island is a significant attraction in the map of Thailand. The island comprises of Khao Phing Kan and Ko Ta Pu, a 20-metre tall islet and also is a part of the Ao Phang Nga National Park. This mesmerizingly scenic piece of land lies in the Phang Nga Bay of Thailand and got its iconic name after a part of the movie James Bond: The Man with the Golden Gun was shot here. Till the year of 1974 which was also the year of release of the James Bond movie, this part of Thailand was a rarely visited indigenous area. Usually the Ko Ta Pu the 20-metre tall limestone islet is the reference marker to the James Bond Island. The island is rich in flora and fauna, ranging from more than a hundred varieties birds to evergreen trees, the island also houses 26 species of reptiles, 24 species of fish, 14 species of shrimp, 15 species of crab, and 16 species of manta rays, sharks, and game fish. The climate of this island is considered to be tropical marine climate.
