About Jawaharlal Nehru Planetarium (Bengaluru)
Located on Sir. T. Chowdaiah Road, The Jawaharlal Nehru Planetarium, Bengaluru was setup in 1989 and is managed by Bangalore Association for Science Education (BASE). The Planetarium has a 15.0 meters diameter dome with a seating capacity of 210. The "Solar System" show in the planetarium is one of famous shows here and is about 40 minutes long giving breif overview of constellations and a quick tour of the solar system.
Altough not very well maintained there is a Science Centre and a Science Park inside the premises as well.
Jawaharlal Nehru Planetarium Timings Daily at 3 p.m (in Kannada ), 4.30 p.m (in English), except on Mondays and second Tuesday. Entry fee is Rs.25 for person above 16 and Rs.10 for below 16 years of age.
