About Jolly Buoy Island, Port Blair

Jolly Buoy Island is located some 30 km away from Port Blair. The journey to this island is little enthusiastic. First you have to travel by road amidst of green forest and mangroves and reach a place named Wandoor. From Wandoor, ferry service is available. This ferry service includes first 10 minutes free snorkeling. Glass bottomed boat ride enthralls you with coral reefs and marine lives like star fish etc. (Few gossips going around that these lives are fake). However, the sea water is clear turquoise and drags you to swim in it. Ignoring the commercialization of beach, Jolly Buoy Island is good place is have pleasant time. Better to pack food and water to this Island.
