About Jama Masjid, Mathura
The Jama Masjid of Mathura is beautiful mosque that has four classic domed minarets. It was built in 1662 AD by Abd-un-Nabi Khan, a governor of Aurangzeb. The mosaic plastering of the mosque still holds its charm and is beautiful to look at. Follow the stone steps up to the arched entrance. Listen to the sound of the mosque and watch the birds sweeping across the sky.
