• Rose Garden: The Zakir Hussain Rose Garden, sprawling over 30 acres of land, this garden has over 50000 bushes of rose and over 1600 species. 
• Sukhna Lake: This 3 km² rainfed lake was created in 1958 by damming the Sukhna Choe, a seasonal stream coming down from the Shivalik Hills. 
• Rock Garden: Spread over 40 acres of land, this was secretly started by a government employee named Nek Chand in his spare time in the year 1957.  It is completely built of industrial and home waste and thrown-away items.
• Chandigarh Museum and Art gallery: This magnificent museum is a premier museum of North India having collections of Gandharan sculptures, Pahari and Rajasthani miniature paintings. It owes its existence to the partition of India in August 1947.
• Open Hand Monument: The Open Hand Monument is a symbolic structure designed by the architect Le Corbusier and located in the Capitol Complex of the Indian city and union territory of Chandigarh.
• Butterfly Park: Landscaped park & conservatory with trees, shrubs, and flowers attracting 35 species of butterfly.
• Leisure Valley: Linear park made up of themed gardens stretching 8 km in a former eroded valley.
• Garden of Silence: A meditative space at the end of Sukhna Lake, features a seated Buddha. This is the latest addition to monuments of Chandigarh.
