About Erawan National Park
Erawan National Park is known primarily for its waterfall which cascades down 7 tiers and has mesmerizing blue-green waters. The park also houses several elephants, deers and also several caves which stalactites deposits at their entrance. The park can be explored on walking trails and is also well connected with Bangkok by road. Erawan National Park was built in the year of 1975 and was the 12th National Park of Thailand, the name of the park is derived from an elephant in Hindu mythology, Erawan, which had three heads. The park's most iconic attraction the seven tier waterfall is said to resemble Erawan, the park in total covers a total area of 550 sq. km.
