Langshiang Falls in Meghalaya are presumed to be the third highest waterfall in India. They are formed as a result of confluence of two streams of Kynshi river near Sangriang. This hidden gem is a mystery to tourists who travel the West Khasi Hills district in Meghalaya to look for this elusive waterfalls, believed to be sighted from Mawpon village. Nongkhnum river island, a few hours trek from Nongstoin is surrounded by Weinia falls, Kshaid Thum falls and Langshiang falls.
