About Kavaratti Island
The capital of Lakshadweep, which holds a lot of tourist attention and functions on it, is an island that grabs you in, with its spectacular and emasculating beauty. Kavaratti Island is quite a popular destination known for its unspoiled white sand beaches and tranquil blue lagoons. The beaches, the sand, the corals, the marine animals, the sight, the atmosphere- somehow makes it all surreal. There’s just so much beauty in nature that you leave everything behind and just falter in its splendor, and it’s all unspoken.
Kavaratti Island is an astonishing piece of land with its enticing mosques which are 50 in numbers. The Urja mosque is an attraction for the tourists that visit Kavaratti. Along with that, there’s Ajara and Jamnath mosques that are famous for its architecture. There’s an aquarium here, along with a museum. The accommodation isn’t that great and the food isn’t that diverse, yet again!
None of the other islands have exquisite food, except the regular mouth-watering seafood. The tourists have cribbed about the cleanliness of the area too. There are a lot of packages that you can refer to, or consider before your visit to the islands here. The water sports, once again is the catch here, along with the boat rides, scuba diving, snorkeling, and kayaking and canoeing. You can use the chopper or the boats, pertaining to your convenience.
Keep tanning lotions and cover yourself here, or you might face a sunstroke! When you’re in here, it’s preferable to carry snacks or munchies with you, as there is no food available in between meals, like all the other islands. You have a lot of packages to make your tour better and a collection to choose from too. There’s a certified scuba diving academy here and you don’t even need to be a pro swimmer for that.
