The Shirdi Sai Baba Temple is a beautiful shrine nearby the Sri Sai Baba Samadhi. In the center of shrine, there is a huge Italian marble Statue of Sri Sai Baba sitting on a throne. As per legends Sri Sai Baba showed in tiny village called Shirdi at the age of 16 underneath a Neem Tree. This young bearded man was called by a Mahalspathi of a temple as “Sai Baba” (Poor Man). Sri Sai Baba was a man of simplicity and he is a fakir. In the beginning stage, villagers offered foods to this young fakir who lived in silence. Slowly the villagers were attracted by his divine speech and healing power. Thus the tiny village Shirdi became a popular pilgrimage center.
