About Victory War Memorial, Chennai
Victory War Memorial was originally built to honor the soldiers who sacrificed their life during World War I and was known as 'Cupid's bow'. After World War II, it became Victory War Memorial. This memorial is located in the start point of Marina Beach near St.George Fort. Later inscriptions from 1948 Kashmir operations and 1962 Indo-China war were also added.
Tourists can see a circular rock and a marble structure in the war memorial.
