Trivandrum Heritage Trails Itinerary:

We begin our journey at Pazhavangadi Lord Ganesha Temple and then navigate through the historic narrow street market leading to the renowned Sree Padmanabhaswami Temple, known as the world's wealthiest Hindu temple.

En route, we'll marvel at the impressive 100ft (30m) Temple Tower, explore the Temple Pond, and admire an ancient clock tower. While traversing, we'll have the opportunity to indulge in some delightful authentic Kerala-style sweets like Boli, a refreshing treat for the senses.

Our path then takes us to the west entrance of the temple, where we'll visit several ancient temples such as Ananthancadu Nagaraja Temple, Trimurthi Temple dedicated to Lord Brahma, Lord Vishnu, and Lord Shiva, and Varahamoorthi Temple, one of the 23 Varahamoorthy temples in India.

After a brief stop, we'll proceed to explore the Ammaveedu Palace complex, the former residence of the kings' wives during that era. Following this, we'll visit the ancient Travancore jail, now transformed into a palm-leaf manuscript museum, providing in-depth insights into the history of Travancore and Kerala.
