Amritsar is the largest city of the state Punjab and it is a city that shimmers with its divine glory. It is a city that is distinctly recognized as the holy seat of Sikhs throughout the world. With its poignant history and glorious past, it showcases the secular style of life. With Harmandir Sahib(or Golden Temple) being the focus of attention, the Golden City also has a handful of other interesting spots like the Jallianwala Bagh, Gobindgarh Fort, Durgiana Temple, Wagah Border, Maharaja Ranjit Singh Museum and Chand Baori.

Itinerary

• You are required to report at Partition Museum, Amritsar at a time selected while booking.
• The guide cum host will meet you here and after a quick introduction session, the tour will start.
• Visit the Partition Museum which is a central repository of tragic stories, archives, documents of partition period of India and Pakistan.
• Walk on the lanes on Amritsar showcasing it Golden grandeur with a heritage tinge, a mini replica of Indian Parliament and a giant-sized statue of the architect of the Indian Constitution, B R Ambedkar. 
• Witness a towering statue of Maharaja Ranjit Singh at Chowk Phagwara
• Visit Jallianwala Bagh which is a memorial of national importance to commemorate the Amritsar massacre 
• Pass through Gurdwara Baba Atal which is one of Amritsar’s finest architectural marvels and nine storied octagonal towers and is also the tallest tower in Amritsar 
• Visit Sikh Reference Library, Central Sikh Museum and Akal Takht- one of five takhts (seats of power) of the Sikhs.
• The 2-hour tour ends at the Golden Temple, the holiest of the Sikh shrines.
