Detailed overview

The Jhalana Sanctuary in Jaipur is known for its leopard population and also several other fauna species. The forest was earlier the hunting grounds of the Maharajas of Rajasthan. Leopard sightings are very frequent in this sanctuary along with other animals like the common langurs, desert foxes and many more. This park also presents one of the most stunning views of the sunrise and sunsets and the Aravalli mountain range. The leopard population is well preserved, which is resulting in a significant increase of the leopards in the park.

Itinerary

• You will be reporting at the entry gate of Jhalana Panther Sanctuary at your specified time slot.
• Post which you will be meeting our hosts who will be briefing you with the safety instructions.
• After all the instructions are crystal clear you will onboard the 4x4 jeep to start with your safari along with the naturalist.
• During the safari, you may witness panthers on a tree, panthers drinking water from a water source, and also leopards nicely seated on a rock atop a mountain along with other animals like spotted deer, blue bulls, Hanuman Langurs etc.
• If opted for the option of Shikaar Audhi, one can see the mesmerizing sunrise and sunsets and the majestic Aravallis from this two-storeyed building in the park.
• Post the completion of the 2.5 hours safari you will be dropped back at the entry gate of the Jhalana Panther Sanctuary.
