Detailed Overview
Brahmagiri Trek is one of the most sought-after treks in Karnataka. This trek goes via Brahmagiri wildlife sanctuary which shares borders with Kerala. This wildlife sanctuary is well known for its very high population of wild elephants. You can sight wild elephants very often in this route. With the trekking route going through the thick forest, everlasting grasslands, river streams and waterfalls (Irupu Falls), you will have something special from nature after every turn. This is one of the few treks which is open even in the monsoon. Strictly no littering. Help in our efforts to keep “Coorg Clean"
Itinerary
Day 1: Start from Bangalore by 10:00 pm
Day 2: Arrive in Coorg
- We are expected to reach the campsite by 7:30 am. Freshen up at the campsite before breakfast.
- After a small briefing session, we'll start our trek to the Aabhel peak.
- Every participant will be given a packed lunch for the trek.
- Traditional Coorg style Dinner and Campfire
- Stay in Tents
Day 3: Day exploration and journey back to Bangalore
- Take a coffee plantation tour, Coorg is famous for its coffee.
- Explore the campsite and some beautiful spots around it.
- We'll also have the chance to walk in the water stream, visit Iruppu falls and have some relaxed time
- We will start our journey back to Bangalore. We are expected to reach Bangalore by 10:30 pm.

- A good pair of trekking shoes which is water resistant

Please Note: Leeches are quite common in the Western Ghats and especially in the rainy season. So do not panic. Carry salt & lemon or small sachets of shampoo. Our guide will explain in detail on how to avoid them.
